Our groups are primarily formed according to ability. If you have the same skill level, we are happy to group friends, siblings, etc. together. We also like to group participants according to age, language, and other criteria.
Group lessons are generally held in German and English. Of course, we also have teachers who speak Dutch, French, Spanish, Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish. We try to take this into account when forming groups, but primarily group students according to their language proficiency. For private lessons, we are happy to assign a teacher who speaks your language.
When booking online you receive a 3% discount on private lessons, a 5% discount on group lessons, a 10% discount on packages and a 15% discount on rentals.
The course days must be taken consecutively only with the package. For regular group and private courses, you are welcome to take a break day. It is important that you inform us no later than the day before the break day. The course cannot be rescheduled on the day of the break.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and EC cards.
Ski lessons take place in all weather conditions. Same-day cancellations are not possible.
You can join our course every day.
YES! We offer our guests a discounted ticket – book multiple days and save money. Otherwise, each additional day from the 4th day onwards costs €60 per day (all group courses).
Yes! The meeting point for children and adults is the same, and the course times for the group courses are also identical.
The package includes the ski or snowboard course and rental equipment (skis/snowboard, boots, poles, helmet and storage) and lunchtime supervision for children up to 14 years old.
The motto here is: the earlier, the better! During holiday periods, we definitely recommend that you book your ski instructor in advance via our website so that we can meet your requirements.
Lunchtime supervision for children up to 14 years old is included in the packages. For group courses, you can book with or without lunchtime supervision. We recommend booking lunchtime supervision, as the lunch break is only 45 minutes and the children eat lunch at different huts. Lunchtime supervision includes a hot meal (suitable for children), drinks, and supervision. We are happy to arrange a suitable lunch for children with allergies or vegetarian/vegan requirements. Please inform the office on the first day.
A refund is not possible if you are not satisfied. However, the difference between the cost of used and unused days can be applied to another offer from the ski school. Unused days are defined as all days in the future; the same day does not count towards this total.
Our groups are primarily formed according to ability. If you have a similar skill level, we're happy to group friends, siblings, etc. together. We also gladly group children based on age, language, and other factors. It's important that you indicate your child's current skill level when booking. If your child is too advanced or too weak for the group, the ski instructors will automatically adjust the group accordingly.
The course days must be taken consecutively only with the package. For regular group and private courses, you are welcome to take a break day. It is important that you inform us no later than the day before the break day. The course cannot be rescheduled on the day of the break.
The children are out and about in the ski area during the lessons and don't return to the meeting point at lunchtime. Furthermore, children learn much more in a full-day course. In a half-day course, the children learn nothing more in the afternoon and would therefore have to change groups more often, which we want to avoid.
Every Friday at 1:30 pm, the children's ski race takes place at Giggijoch. Our snow sports instructors train and prepare the children for the race during their ski lessons. Participation in the race is not mandatory. If your child doesn't want to participate, they can cheer on the other children and watch. The awards ceremony always takes place at the end of the ski lesson day. Parents are warmly invited to cheer on their children during the race. Whether a child receives a gold, silver, or bronze medal depends on their time. In any case, every child who participates in the ski race will take home a medal. A valid ski lesson pass entitles the child to participate in the race.
In our ski school, children are grouped according to their skiing ability. If you would like your children, or their friends' children, to ski in the same group, please inform the instructor before the course begins. If the children's abilities differ, the more advanced skier must adapt to the less advanced skier.
You will receive your booked equipment directly at the meeting point (in the office at the Giggijoch mountain station). Please arrive at least 1 hour before the course begins.
The package includes the ski or snowboard course and rental equipment (skis/snowboard, boots, poles, helmet and storage) and lunchtime supervision for children up to 14 years old.
A ski pass is required for all ski lessons and is not included in the course price. For beginners (green level), a beginner's lift ticket is sufficient for the first few days. For all other lessons, you will need a ski pass for the entire ski area. Further information about ski passes is available from the Sölden mountain lifts.
Dynamic Pricing - The earlier, the cheaper! Since the 2021/22 winter season, the Sölden and Gurgl ski areas have a new ski pass pricing system.
